Edited by Bishnu Raj Upreti (PhD), Gopikesh Acharya and Annal Tandukar from NCCR, an evidence based research book 'State-people relations in post-conflict Nepal' has recently been released in 12 December 2016 from Kathmandu. The book was released jointly by Prabhu Budathoki (Honorable Member, National Planning Commission), Kailash Nath Pyakural (Former VC, Agriculture and Forestry University), Mahesh Banskota (Dean, School of Arts, KU) and Bal Chandra Luitel (Associate Dean, School of Education, KU). The book is based on the findings from SLRC-NCCR quantitative (panel survey, 2012 and 2015) and qualitative researches conducted for the last 6 years in Nepal. The book comprises 12 different chapters focused in the areas of basic services (drinking water and sanitation, education and health), livelihood assistance services, social protection, governance, peace-building and state-building.
